An incomplete cast lead button of post-medieval to modern date. The button is discoidal with a flat back and convex front. The front face is decorated with a central incised circle from which radiate six raised lines resulting in the formation of six triangular cells. Each of these cells is decorated with numerous horizontal incised lines. The outer border of the button is marked by short vertical lines. The reverse of the button is undecorated and the remains of the shank can be seen though it has been lost due to old breaks.
The metal is a light grayish-brown colour and is worn. The button is 26.1mm in diameter, 5.5mm thick and weighs 13.9g.
