The bead is an oval shape in plan with slightly flattened terminals. Through the longest axis of the bead is a hole with straight sides. One terminal of the hole has a large chip. This chipped area has slight compression ripples, similar to that of knapped flint. The colour of the bead appears to be a very dark opaque brown.
