A complete Early Neolithic 'side and end' flint scraper (3500 BC-2900 BC).
This scraper has been manufactured on a round secondary flake. It has a large bulb of percussion and there is a striking platform at the proximal end. The dorsal surface is very uneven and has a patch of cortex and a natural void near the distal end. It has retouch around the sides and end which is abrupt and semi-abrupt, scaled and stepped.

The scraper is grey with a creamy off-white area at the proximal end and the patch of cortex is pale orange.

Height: 43.9mm; width: 42.5mm; thickness: 13.7mm. Weight: 25.58g.
