A cast copper-alloy rotary or casket key of Medieval date. It has a flattened circular bow with central circular aperture. The stem is oval shaped in section and hollow at the tip end where there is an integrally cast flattened rectangular bit positioned in line with the stem. This has two small opposing rectangular clefts. The entire object measures 35.37mm in length, 17.41mm in height, 3.53mm in thickness, and weighs 3.89g. It is of Medieval date, probably from the 13th-15th centuries AD.
