A worn and incomplete cast copper-alloy strap fitting or hooked tag of probable Post-Medieval date. It has a flat square plate at one end of which extends an integral hook that is triangular in form, folded over at the hook and and tapers towards a now incomplete tip. At the centre of the plate is a rivet hole containing the corroded remains of a separate rivet. The entire object has worn surfaces and measures 10.48mm in width, 18.98mm in length, 0.48mm in thickness, and 0.54g in weight. This is a work strap fitting or possibly a hooked tag. Its form and the presence of a central rivet suggest a Post-Medieval date range to be most likely, although an earlier date cannot be ruled out entirely.
