UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT

Unique ID: FAKL-B2A5D3

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Published Find published

Loop of 3.1mm diameter copper alloy wire bent to form a U. Ends flattened, one damaged the other decorated with incised radial lines. Through each of the ends was a copper alloy rivet, the one that survives is 2.7mm diameter x 2.6mm long. This object cannot be identified with certainty, the short rivet suggest that it is not a loop from a buckle and it might be best seen as a loop handle from a small vessel.

Class: Handle?
