Part A (8 pieces, total 31g), Small irregular, amorphous fragments of copper alloy casting waste.

Part B Small fragment of copper alloy strip, broken at both ends. Only a short length remains. It may originally have formed part of the binding or similar from a larger object or fitting. Measurements: Length: 20.4mm; width: 9.8mm; edge thickness: 1.6mm; weight: 1.7g

Part C Small fragment of copper alloy binding strip with a C-shaped cross-section. It is broken at both ends, and only a short length remains. Parallels: Similar binding strips were recovered as part of the related 1843 hoard (M. 134). These could have functioned as binding for shields, scabbards or other fittings. Measurements: Length: 19.2mm; width: 8.8mm; edge thickness: 1.2mm; weight: 1.9g Copper alloy sheet fragment

Part D Fragment of copper alloy sheeting, roughly triangular in form. Whilst two of the edges are irregular, the long upper edge appears to be original. This may be a fragment of vessel rim. Measurements: Length: 25.5mm; width: 14.8mm; rim thickness: 2.4mm; weight: 3.6g Part A (8 pieces, total 31g), Small irregular, amorphous fragment of copper alloy casting waste.
