Silver sixpence of Elizabeth I . Initial Mark: unknown. From the style of the shield on the reverse a date is suggested within the second coinage 1561-1582. A partial but very worn date above the shield also suggests a narrower range in the 1560's. Both faces (but particularly the revserse) are heavily scratched
