Unique ID: DUR-601D44

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Published Find published

Cast copper alloy fragment of a Post Medieval drawer handle.

It has a strip of copper alloy folded over through the top loop, presumably to attach the fitting to the drawer. The main body has a rectangular attachment loop with protruding corners and a raised lower line. It then narrows to a neck, before widening into what would have been a sub-rectangular body with leaf/floriate design on the front. This has broken only a short way down.
