The flint is a light grey to off white colour, and was likely derived from a local beach pebble. Over 50% of the dorsal face is covered with roughly scarred cortex, consistant with beach pebble. Lozenge in plan and plano convex in profile, the distal end has retouch marks on either side of the medial ridge, which follows the cortex along the face of the flint. The proximal end of the dorsal face appears to have been snapped off, since there doesn't appear to be any signs of retouch. There are some indications of strike marks on the right margin of the ventral face, the bulb of percussion is still present, but there are no conchoidal waves present in the piece. This appears to be an end and side scraper.
