TREASURE CASE 2009 T541:
A small medieval silver-gilt, double-sided pendant crucifix, with a relief figure of Christ on the Cross on one side, and on the other probably the figure of the Virgin and Child. Only one arm of the cross survives intact, with a knop terminal; the other arm has lost its knop. The suspension loop, head and foot of the cross are missing. The left arm of the figure of Christ is broken.
Notes:
The find therefore qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content.
