A cast lead bi-conical spindle whorl of probable medieval date. The whorl has a central perforation for the spindle which measures 10.9 mm in diameter, whilst the whorl itself measures 27.85 mm in diameter and is 13.13 mm thick. It weighs 41.1 grams. The whorl is worn, but cast decoration is visible on both sides, taking the form of an abstract linear pattern. The whorl has a pale cream to brown patina and is quite worn.
