A cast lead bi-conical spindle whorl of probable medieval date. The whorl has a central perforation for the spindle which measures 13.66 mm in diameter, whilst the whorl itself measures 29.74 mm in diameter and is 14.5 mm thick. It weighs 51.1 grams. The whorl is worn, but cast decoration is visible on both sides, apparently taking the form of alternating lines and dots, and is possibly pseudo-runic in places.
