Thimble. Cast Beehive Thimble, as identified by finder. An incised line separates a basal field from a zone of vertical lines of round punched indentations, surmounted by three horizontal or circumferential lines of similar indentations; the top of the thimble remains plain. The metal is quite thin, as raised dots from the punching of the indentations appear within the thimble. A small piece of the lower wall is lost. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1400-1500.

Height: 14.1mm, Diameter: 17.1mm, Thickness: 1.5mm, Weight: 1.63gms.
