Medieval cast copper alloy buckle frame with zoomorphic decoration. The frame is D shaped with a wide flat loop which widens slightly along the outer edge. The strap bar is missing to worn breaks but was offset with oval knops at either end. The front of the frame is decorated with raised moulded decoration, probably in the form of two animals with heads meeting in the centre and curled tails or possible curled foliate decoration. It is 38.8mm long, 23.9mm wide and 3.3mm thick; it weighs 6.65 grams.
