Probably a fragment of a cast copper alloy coin; a potin issued by the Cantii tribe and probably dating from 100 BC - 35 BC. The coin is dished, with part of a head of Apollo visible on the convex face, but the design on the concave side is not identifiable. Compare Van Arsdell 106 - 139.
