An incomplete copper-alloy Nauheim-derivative brooch, dating from the 1st century AD.

The brooch has been made in one piece. The bow is of sub-rectangular section, having convex vertical surfaces. At the bottom, the width gradually decreases towards the foot, where there is an unperforated catchplate with rolled outer side. At the top, the bow extends forward at a right-angle, before curving upwards into the one remaining spring coil. The brooch measures 41.5mm long, up to 3.8mm wide (bow) and 10.8mm deep. The weight is 1.6g.
