Two handmade sherds from 12th to 13th century cooking jars, consisting of one rim sherd and one body sherd. The fragments have a general mid orange fabric with some red fabric with some reduced grey cores. The fabric has been tempered with c.20 - 25% poorly sorted small to medium, angular and rounded quartzite rocks, chert and flint. Voids are evident in the fabric which are consistent with missing temper. The rim sherd has a thickened rim on the outerside with a stright flat top.
