Post Medieval Coin Weight: Complete cast copper alloy coin weight. The weight is a square flat disc decorated on both sides. One side carries the design of a crowned rose with the letters EC to either side. the other side probably shows a scallop shell with the letters GG above. This coin weight was continentally produced for the English market. GG is the mark of Gerrit Greers of Amsterdam. The weight weights1ozt.
This coin weight is dated to c.1600-1630.
