Copper alloy die. Cast cubic die of 'sevens' type, meaning the number 1 is opposite 6, 2 opposite 5 and 3 opposite 4, in a series in which the sum of opposite faces is always seven. The numbers are rendered in lathe-turned or drilled ring and dot. The dice is apparently loaded towards higher values. Suggested date: Roman, 40-400.
