A slightly worn, incomplete, silver 4th-century or 5th-century Roman siliqua of Honorius, 'VIRTUS RO-MANORVM', uncertain mint (397-402 AD; RIC X cf. no 1228).
Notes:
This is one of 10 siliqua found on the site over a number of years. Because the earlier coins are generally unclipped and the later coins are slightly clipped it does suggest that these are coins lost over a period of time rather than coming from a single hoard
