JETTON

Unique ID: SF-E31C12

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

A copper-alloy Rose and Orb jetton, probably of Nuremburg Master Wolf Lauffer II, c.1612-1651 AD. Similar to Mitchiner, 1988: no. 1719 although the obverse legend reads WOLFF, which is usually attributed to Wolf Laufer III (1650-1670 AD), perhaps indicating this jetton is a mule of two types belonging to Wolf II and Wolf III.
