Flint implement; possible Final Upper Palaeolithic backed blade or later side scraper made on a secondary flake. Sub-triangular in plan with two short edges concave and the long edge convex; expands from the proximal end, diagonal concave distal end; triangular section; 10% cortex. Ventral - soft-hammer bulb at the narrow proximal end; damage at the distal end, patinated so ancient damage. Dorsal - three flake scars, semi-abrupt retouch along the left edge (longest edge); recent damage at the tip and along the lower right edge. Mottled white/light blue-grey patina. Length 59.5mm, width 23.1mm, thickness 8.1mm, weight 8.98g.
