A cast copper alloy snake-type bracelet of Roman date. The terminal is curved and separated from the body of the braceet by a groove 10.5mm from the tip, demarking the 'head'. The head is decorated with etched lines in the shape of a 'W'. The head is 7mm wide at the widest part. The frame of the bracelet tapers down to 3.5mm at the break. The frame is D-shaped in section. After the groove demarking the head are two rows of 8 V-shaped stamped marks, indicating scales.
