An incomplete, post Medieval, cast, copper-alloy, rectangular shoe buckle. The frame is rectangular in plan and in cross-section and is thickened at the centres where it is drilled to take the central spindle. There are the remnants of an iron spindle in both holes. The whole frame is curved. The upper surface of the frame is decorated with moulded lines of beading along both the inner and outer edges with a continuous line of pointed oval shapes between.
