Small cast cu-alloy object, possibly the drop handle of a drawer or a very small wood splitter dating from the late medieval or early post-medieval period, i.e. c. AD1500-1800. The artefact is composed of a small 'paddle'-shaped body with a button/knop at the top. It is not decorated, but slightly bent. If it is part of a wood worker's toolkit it is in very good nick and the domed head does not show signs of much hammering as one would expect. It is more like that it was part of a swivel fitting for a drawer handle.
