Post-Medieval silver dress-pin of bodkin form, broken just below the eyelet. Just above the break are incised longitudinal lines leading to a thicker design with three punched recesses on each side. The eyelet is then followed by a four-petalled flower which forms the head of the bodkin.
Such objects were used by women as hair and dress accessories; this type of object is regularly reported through the Treasure Act.
