A copper-alloy shoulder bolster from a medieval to post-Medieval whittle-tang knife. The object comprises a sub-trapezoidal frame with a rectangular cross section and sub-triangular aperture for the tang of the knife. Similar pieces on the PAS database include NMS-25B303 and ESS-0CF1C2.
Notes:
This find has been recorded from a photograph and basic identification notes made at the rally event. The original artefact is not available for study and therefore this record falls short of the normal recording standard.
