A Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy finger-ring, slightly squashed. It measures 21.29mm in diameter (internal 19.65mm) and weighs 1.17g.
The hoop is flat in cross-section (0.61mm thick) and 4.74mm wide. It is divided into square-ish sections, alternating ones of which are decorated with two transverse grooves and a rib to either side and a raised foliate design at the centre (this comprises a triangular leaf in one corner with two projecting, curving stems).
