Copper alloy Early Medieval- Medieval composite strap end.
It is sub-triangular in plan, narrowing towards the terminal (width 5.47mm and thickness 1.59mm). The two rivets at the top are still present holding the two parts together. The terminal is solid and ends in a point. It is possible there was decoration on this originally but it is worn all over.
