Cast copper alloy Roman strap slide, dating from the 1st- 3rd centuries AD.
It is circular in plan and domed, being hollow on the reverse. Its edges are slightly broken but other than that it is complete. It is decorated on the front with a raised triskele motif which was cast integrally. In the centre and at the end of each arm there is a circular dot as extra decoration. The strap slide has a rectangular loop on the reverse to fix it onto the strap.
