Cast copper alloy Wirral brooch dating from the 2nd century AD.

Incomplete and in corroded condition. The head plate is much denuded and corroded. The upper bow has three vertical panels running its length which would have been infilled with enamel in alternating coloured squares. It retains traces of yellow/white enamel in one of the cells. The leg is missing from just below the projecting boss at the waist.
