A cast copper-alloy strap loop/slide with integral external rivet. It has a trapezoidal frame, broadly rectangular in cross-section. There is a small rivet,broadly square in cross-section, attached in the centre of the narrow side on the outside edge which projects approximately 3.2mm. Similar strap loops can be found illustrated in Griffiths et al. (2007, 128-130) which are compared to examples from London from late 13th to late 14th-century contexts.
