Copper alloy stirrup mount fragment. Cast openwork mount; a fragment from the stepped base with two round apertures for fixing, and the lower part of a decorative scheme above. The object class is typical of the Anglo-Scandinavian period in North Lincolnshire, though some examples may be of slightly later Romanesque style and date. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 1000-1050.
