A silver Roman Republican coin; a denarius probably of C. Vibius C. f. Pansa, dating from about 90 BC. Compare Crawford 342/5b; Sydenham 684; Vibia 1 (www.CoinArchives.com) which looks to be similar. The coin is incomplete and worn with scratches on the obverse. It is 16.9mm in diameter and 2.1mm thick. It weighs 2.46g.
