Post-Medieval cast copepr alloy hooked tag, Read Class E Type 7. Heart-shaped relief moulded openwork body with three apertures with rope lines between; two knops projecting from either side (forming an X with the rope lines); small bifoliate knop projecting into the loop; trapezoidal loop; complete hook projecting from the opposite side. Brown patina. Length 33.0mm, width 17.1mm, thickness 2.2mm, weight 2.65g.
No exact parallel in Read's Hooked-Clasps & Eyes (2008, Portcullis).
