Medieval coin; silver halfgroat of Edward III, 4th coinage pre-Treaty period Series D, York mint, North 1155, AD1352-3. Incomplete - small part of edge damaged and missing. Diameter 22.2mm, weight 1.86g.

The reverse is only slightly worn but the portrait on the obverse is worn flat and with scratches on one side.
