A complete, cast circular uni-faced lead alloy token. The token has a raised design comprised of capitalised initials separated by a single pellet. The initials are possibly IC or IG. The reverse face is flat and carries no design. It is 18.8 mm in diameter, 2.2mm thick and weighs 3.95grams.
Lead alloy tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; therefore they are difficult to date precisely. Tokens with initials are usually assigned a Post Medieval date.
