Three Medieval earthenware pottery vessel sherds. All orange oxidised fired fabircs
1. Strap handle sherd. Probably the lower handle. Soft fine fabric; inclusions not visible as the sherd is concreted. Weight 17.37g.
2. Rim? sherd with double applied strip which extends slightly over the top of the ?rim. Micaceous and with common non-crystalline white (c.0.3mm-1.4mm) and dark grey (up to 1.5mm), and sparse clear ?quartz (c.1mm) inclusions. Weight 9.32g. Unusual form. (see profile image)
3. Strap handle sherd. Probably the upper handle. Soft fabric with grey reduced-fired core. Splashes of clear glaze. Weight 32.70g.
