Roman: Two (2) sherds, weighing 5.3 grams, from several different vessels of a wheel thrown Romano-British local (unsourced) oxidised ware, probably that made in the Severn Valley area. This pottery type is consistent with 2nd to 4th Centuries AD dating. The assemblage consisted of one rim sherd and one body sherds. The rim form that present are both plain, rounded everted rims and the base is flat. All the sherds are consistent with large storage jar type vessels.
