A fragment of copper alloy spearhead, of possible Bronze Age to Roman date.
The spearhead is leaf shaped with a raised central rib that is circular in section. It is green in colour.
The form best matches spearhead of Bronze Age date (e.g. Moore, C.N., Rowlands, M. (1972) Bronze Age Metalwork in the Salisbury Museum), but all other objects from the field were of Roman date, perhaps indicating a Roman leaf-shaped spearhead.
