Knapped flint side and end scraper, probably Neolithic in date. Created on a reworked primary flake with prominent bulb of percussion and percussion waves on the ventral face and a highly domed dorsal face with c.30% cortex remaining. The rest of the cortex has been removed by long, invasive, fairly shallow parallel removals. Around 95% of the edge is shorted, scallar, abrupt or semi-abrupt retouch and much usewear and chipping. It is made on a dark brown, fairly translucent flint. 41.9mm long, 32.1mm wide and 15.2mm thick; it weighs 22.85 grams.
