Cast copper alloy Post Medieval shoe buckle, 18/19th century in date.
It is rectangular in plan and double-looped, the strap bar being attached as a separate spindle in the centre. The pin is formed from a piece of sheet metal wrapped around the strap bar with a triangular point meeting the outer edge of the frame.
