A hinged dolphin brooch dating to the Roman period. The brooch has cylindrical wings in cross-section containing an axis bar. The hinged pin is broken shortly after it leaves the head. The bow is comma shaped in profile and triangular in cross-section, tapering to the foot. Catchplate intact.
