Copper alloy Post Medieval finger ring, 18th century in date.
It has ac circular hoop which is flat all the way around. The outer face is decorated with vertical lines all around the diameter. On the inner face there are three lions stamped, this is presumably the makers mark.
The Norfolk FLO had a case where a copper alloy finger ring had been stamped with a lion and the word GOLD, presumably to try to fool someone into thinking it was a gold ring. The marks on this finger ring may be something similar.
