Possible cast lead finger ring. Uncertain date - most likely to be post-Medieval or modern. D-shaped hoop made from a strip with the ends overlapping and joined at the back. Sub-circular 'bezel' with an irregular cast linear design, possibly of a star? The bezel is soldered to the hoop. Now squashed. Grey and cream patina. Original internal diameter of hoop c.12mm, thickness of hoop 2.3mm-4.9mm (max at back), diameter of bezel 18.5mm, thickness of bezel c.2.0mm, weight 7.32g.
