An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval suspension mount. It has 2 rectangular loops, and a central hole possibly for a rivet. The loops have a rectangular cross section. There is a similar item in Read Metal Artefacts of Antiquity page 51 no 399, that suggests it may have had 2 arms with decorated terminals. However there are no signs on the object of breaks. It is suggested this is 14th century in date.
An example can be seen in the London Museum medieval Catalogue 1940 p121.
