A incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy buckle. The object is d shaped, and sinlge looped. The loop thickens as it approaches the center and is very thin at the knops. It has loped knops at both ends of where the bar would be (missing), which would be offset if present. One of the lobed knops is larger and more pronounced than the other. It is was silver, most of which is gone, but is still visible on the loop, and on the knops. The object is incomplete, as it is missing its pin and bar. The objebt is in poor condition as it is broken and the silver has come off. This is likely to date to c.1250-1500. It is 17.40 mm L x 12.91 mm W x 2.81 MM TH. It weighs 0.85 g. A similar object can be seen in the database, LIN-1D2E75.
