Silver disc from an incomplete cuff link. The disc is circular with a downturned rim which is now slightly distorted. It is decorated with a stamped design of a flaming heart pierced by two downward pointing arrows; the design is now quite worn. There is a silver wire loop soldered to the reverse linked to a second silver loop which would have been used to secure two discs together.
The disc measures 12.95mm in diameter and is 2.66mm thick. The soldered loop is 5.22mm long, 1.43mm wide. The joining loop is 13.87mm long. Weight 0.90 grams

The object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal and is over 300 years old. Consequently it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content.
