A silver Roman coin; a denarius probably issued by Antoninus Pius (138-61) in honour of his deified wife Diva Faustina Senior, dating from 141-161 AD. Rome mint, AVGVSTA, Ceres holding torch and sceptre. RIC III c.f. no. 356. It is struck on an oval flan which is 18.1mm long, 15.3mm wide and 2.5mm thick.
